In what I’m certain will be a many part series, I bring to you some early shots of Phoebe learning the joy of naps with the various members of the household.
As many of you know, Linus is the type of dog who loves every creature he has ever come across. Just for reading this blog, Linus loves you, unless you are a squirrel. The NICU nurses gave us a blanket out of her crib to put in his kennel so he’d know her smell before she even arrived. This wasn’t their first meeting, but it was their first nap together.
Of course we have Mom who is recovering extremely quickly from everything, but it’s tough to resist the nap causing aura of little Phoebe.
I know I’m not asleep in this, but I assure you I was quite soon after I took this shot. The thing I noticed afterwards is when you look at my beard and Phoebe’s hair, it becomes pretty clear where her gorgeous color may have come from.
She has much to learn of the world, but how to take a good nap and all the joys that come from one seems as good a place as any to start.
